i grew up as a catholic school girl till i was 18, and over the years my views on religion have changed. but i have to say that i greatly respect and envy the faith and passion that you have for god. it is a quality that i definitly respect in you and all others that share it.
faith (whether it is in God, in another religion or even oneself) is underappreciated…

I don’t believe in the existing of God either, but I like to learn the teachings, it’s like philosophy to me. It does help me to understand the ultimate question “what’s the meaning of life and death?”.

Dear Heavenly Father,
May you please continue to bless my brother Jin in his music. Father God, we know that you have blessed each and everyone of us with a talent and we all have a specific call from you Lord. HEAVENLY FATHER I just pray that you will just please guide Jin in the right direction with his music so that he can influence the world, and more importantly to use his music and talent to GLORIFY YOUR NAME! I also pray for the WHOLE stage of HIPHOP, may you please send your holy spirit into the industry of HIPHOP, and father God, use people like my self and other christian artists to bright the WORD to the rest of the world through our music. Religion is like philosophy; you can’t claim it, but you gotta live it. Through positive attitudes people will witness the GOD in you. We can only plant the seeds like it is described in the parable of the sower..
That comment made by itzlisabz serves as good testimony. People won’t listen if you preach about Jesus; but if you have the fruits of the spirit and shows it through your actions and thoughts, it will become easier for people to believe.

i still remember watching you for the first time on 106th and park, and thinking “damn, he’s got some talent!” and that it was so crazy how good you were. I was so excited to see how far you’d go b/c i was sure you’d make it to the top with your crazy skills & to think that us asians finally had someone to represent.
after all the stuff that happened in between then and now – i’m prouder of you being where you are now than where you were before. even better than having someone to rep us asians, is having someone to rep for God. Hands down – any day.
