He seems like a pretty chill guy…I wish I knew him. Haha
“All knowledge ultimately means self knowledge” -Bruce Lee
He sure is a wise intelligent gentleman. I admire Bruce Lee because he is honest with himself. He knows himself so well, and that is why he is excellent in expressing and showing and bringing out the artist that he is which charisma do appear present in his speech.
This blog got me thinking about my child memories…up late with my dad and younger brothers watching Way of the Dragon, Enter the Dragon, Return of the Dragon, and so on. My father was a huge fan of his. He’s legendary and awesome and will never be forgotten.
My grandfather introduced Bruce Lee into the film industry when he was about 8 I think… my grandfather was a famous Hong Kong actor and producer back in those days, none of the younger generation will have heard of him now but your parents may have “Lo Duen” or known as “Uncle Duen”… they starred in a few films together when Bruce Lee was only around 10 I think, although I’m not sure of the names of the films…
Bruce seems a really charming guy! Self-confident and a little cocky at times! But I guess he needs to be this way otherwise the “foreigners” would have “bullied” him – he really shines for the Chinese and even now after all these years…
Bruce is the man…
bruce lee’s developed fighting style, jeet kun do was descirbed as a form without form. he realized that not one style is superior. rather he saw that each style has its strength and weaknesses. so instead of bounding himself to one style he made a style that is dynamic and takes the best from all styles. on that note, why would you limit your mind by submitting yourself to christianity?
