Welcome to the first installment of my “I don’t wanna grow up” blog series. In this series, I’ll be sharing with you some of my childhood memories from favorite toys to childhood games. Basically anything that I grew up on will get spotlighted.

Without further or do.. What ‘chu now about “DUCKTALES”!!?

This definitely ranked in my all time top 10 favorite cartoons. Scrooge Mc Duck. Huey, Duey and Luey. Launchpad. Gizmo Duck. This was ill! Who wouldn’t wanna go swimming in a pool full of $$$!?

One of the main reasons I wanted to post about this show was also because I came across this super dope cover of the theme song.

“Ducktales! Woohooo!”

that’s so funny – I was just having a conversation about Ducktales with a friend the other day and how it was a great cartoon! they don’t make them like this anymore… I just love some of the names alone like Magica De Spell, Flintheart Glomgold! hehehee… cute cover of the song!

    Ducktales!!
Sit still in front of the tv whenever it’s on!!
I haven’t heard the English theme song until now=P
I must say…the English one is much more better than the Cantonese one =)
Another favorite cartoon for me will be Tom & Jerry !
    Miss these cartoons a lot!

Ha! I remember watching that on Sat/Sun morning when I was a kid! That’s also the cartoon which taught me the concept of what does it mean by millionaire… It means: you can swim in your very own pool of the gold coins at home!!!!! :P

Yeah I loved Ducktales too, and watching that reminds me how excited I would get if the episode actually happened to be one of those from the intro sequence :D

Another cartoon I loved was Tailspin – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsQTzxzDYjw – which randomly combined the characters from the Jungle Book with air pirates – Completely nutball idea… Yet still enjoyed…

Duck tails? umm… I use to watch it, but it’s been so long that I don’t really remember it. I think there was one episode about one of the little ducks wishing everyday was christmas, and that wish came true! But one of the most memorable cartoon in my childhood, was The Magic School bus.
