Our resident designer Eric “E-money” Leong still has a few final touches to add. Overall, me likes it. What do you guys think?

In other web related news…

I’ve actually been spending the last few days putting alot of thought into the future direction of this blog. As some of you who frequent AyoJin.com may notice, ever so often I crawl into hibernation and it gets pretty quiet around here. I want to make a deal with you right now. You keep coming back and I promise I will keep pumping out quality blog entries. Obviously, there’s only like a gazillion blogs/websites/etc. to choose from when surfing the net. With that said, I know how precious your undivided attention is and I would want to make the most out of the experience.. for both you, the reader and myself, the writer.

With that said, what I’ve been pondering is what exactly should I be writing about on here?

I composed a quick list off the top of my head:

- Thoughts on current hot topics/issues.

- Past career anecdotes/stories.

- What’s going on while I’m out here in Hong Kong.

Just a few ideas.. However, what I’m more interested in knowing is, what do you want to read about?

The floor is now open.

I think you should just blog on whatever feels best for you be it thoughts or stories, cause i’m pretty sure no matter what you post people will still be here reading it!

    Jin,

I guess I want to know when your next album is coming out in the US and when are you going to be performing live in the US.

    Hey Jin – I like the make-over.

I think us North American fans are wondering if you are going to come back here and show this side of the world the talent that you have!

I and the rest of us know you got the talent to succeed over here! You seem to have a great team behind you that’s marketing you well over in Asia – I hope you can do the same here one day!

As a fellow blogger I’m always wondering the same thing…WHAT to blog about and I realised it shouldn’t be about what you THINK people to read/see it should be whatever the hell you want it to be about;) from the heart!Cos I know whatever you write about, I’m interested!

P.S I promise not to slack on blogging if you pinky promise me you won’t either, deal?!

to be honest anything that you mention in your blogs are of interest to me.
but hearing about your pre-hk life would be amazing too, since 106&park was definitely sick..and your career in the States was such a great start to where you’re at today. but hk is home?! lol so.. hearing about your everyday stories in hk is gonna be fun too…i miss hk : ( only get to go back every 1-2 years in the summer….so the wait just kills. hearing about the daily stuff will make me happy enough : P

    I’ll say….
Refer to the “100 Grand Jin” album track # 12, have a good listen to it and take special note from 1 min 17 sec to 1 min 21 sec !! ;) That’s the way to go :P Cheers and good night!!

hah. Pretty much anything you want, like what all those other people have said above me. Big, deep thoughts, revelations. Or. Small happenings, wonderments about the world. Whatever floats your boat. Surely that’s what blogging’s all about. ;) Oh, and some of your small kine adventures in HK and with God are definitely welcome.

So I was just about to say, blog about your passion. And then realized that your main passion is hip hop. haha. And God, of course. But something else that I think would be quite cool, and if you’re up for it, would be featuring a monthly, quarterly, whatever-ly (time wise) cause or organization that you’ve stumbled upon and want to get the word out about. Not that this is your soap box. Or maybe it is. :)

Hi Jin! The most important thing to remember is that what you, (and other celebrities), say influences a lot of people… that being said, I think you should write about whatever is on your heart… things that are important to you will, in turn, be important to your fans. Don’t limit yourself to one thing or another, instead assure your fans that what they find here will be something that you feel is worth being said… or written. I think that’s enough!

  12. jnguyen46 said on March 3rd, 2010 at 2:35 pm:

Umm.. perhaps.. you could keep on writing blog entries about what you find interesting or funny? oo00oo.. or perhaps what even inspires you. What inspires you, may inspire your fans, and it may be an idea worth spreading…

How about more contests and make videos of your life? And how about making more music videos too? You didn’t make one in a while and I’m looking forward to your next one.

Aite Jin…*Your Myspace Album*…I’ll keep coming back.

-What I wanna know about is what up-coming projects you got goin’ on

-I got much respect for your opinion, so when you say some dude is nice, i’m willing to give him a try. Shout-out some up and comers or whoever you think is dope right now

-Whatever you want, long as you’re passionate and really care about what you’re saying, getting others to feel the same way should be motivation enough for you to speak on it

-And what’s up with that Dizaster battle??

Me personally, I would like to see more news about ur music~ I’m sure most of the ppl here 1st fell in love with u b/c of ur music (at least I am!).
2nd thing I peronally like to see/read would be little stories that happen in ur life with great meanings to u. Like the video I saw a while back, u mentioned u dropped ur cell in MTR without noticing it but a guy picked it up & gave it back to u. It might be very common in the U.S., but difinitely not in HK!!

suggestion: for more interaction between reader & writer, why don’t we have a topic of the week? (u know, just like the TV show u do in HK – BBC) U tell us ur thoughts or experience of that topic, we tell u ours~ So we all get to know each other’s funny stories ^^

    love ya!

I want to know more about you and what you’re doing in HK… but in english not cantonese. haha

  20. ahhmui said on March 3rd, 2010 at 9:00 pm:

I like the new design… your pic on the right makes it look like you’re always looking at us as we look at your page! haa! The only thing is the blue color you chose for where it’s your blog title or comment numbers is a little hard to read.

as for what to write I think if we are fans of yours we just want to read anything you are thinking of related to music or not. Even the simple things like… what kind of candy do you like. Only because it makes fans and readers feel like they get to know you better and know what you’re thinking. Or some people may just like to life live through your eyes… what it’s like to be Jin. Even if you just post “hi” people will feel like you’re talking to them and interacting with them. So anything and everything I think is what we’re looking for. Personally I like the ones I can relate to something you’re saying or makes me pause and think about my life…

I think every post is great, even when it seems like there’s nothing to write about. Sometimes, when I blog, I usually write about my thoughts, what’s going on with my life and etc. I think I would like to know more about your life in HK and etc.

    Mr. Au-Yeung,
I know you have all good things going on for you right now. You’re an experienced artist. So, are you looking forward to become a ghostwriter or audio engineer or producer or ever thought about wanting your own record label or furthering your career as an emcee in the next 15 or 20 years from now? I’m just curious what’s your next move since music has always been your thang.

Ohhh some of those responses put me to SLEEP… obiviously we want to hear your thoughts on current events and hot topics… your fans know that you’re incredibly intelligent and witty so I think it would be great to get a little bit of your perspective ( no need to sound corny with the Track Title)… on what is going on in the world.Quite frankly I think a combo Blog/Vlog about all the subjects on your little list work.. this way we get to experience all sides of you:)

i’m sure your very busy and i’m positive you take the time out to read everyone’s comments and respond when you can.

just wanted to say, fan interaction is probably the dopest thing any artist can do besides continue to make music.

The design is tight! I was going to tweet ya about it but then I saw this blog. And as far as blogging goes, I like your idea of varying it between current topics, career anecdotes, and what’s up in HK. It’s always good to get the Jin words of wisdom—they’re greatly valued & much appreciated! As long as you keep it real, we’ll keep comin back… and I know with you that’s not an issue!

tell this day you still have the interest of up in comeing hip hop pioneers….especially the battle sceene… i’ve always been a fan of your battle career when i first saw you on 106&park it was crazy to see a asian guy rappin and beenin good at it ..i was poor at a young age so i only seen your cable friday special freestyle friday as i got older i finally got a computer and realized wats really been goin on in your career and i was amazed to see how far you have gone with the battle thing in your life time…..then your move over seas, this all very intersting to me…and got me wondering ?????? is it possible that jin will merge the gap between christian rap and the whole hip hop sceene in america…..all this plus the possible come back of your battlein career with dizaster and illmac….but that day never came…..so is it true is jin goin to start his own battle league??????????????? if so how would different langues battle one another …if you could hit me back up about this issue i would be very greatful

  37. jin said on March 8th, 2010 at 12:49 pm:
