CALLING ALL MCS!!!

Be a part of the 2010 Hiphop Census (For The People By The People) MIXTAPE

1. Pick your favorite instrumental (Let’s keep it HIPHOP!).

2. Record a song leaving a 16 bar verse open. (The song can be about anything. Be creative!)

3. Upload the mp3 to youtube as a video response to my announcement video (above).

4. I will pick my top 5. Viewers (you all) will vote for your top 5.

5. I will add my verse  on the 10 selected tracks.

Timeline:

Submission date – Feb. 28th to May 1st (2 months)

Voting will take place from – May 1st to May 14th (2 weeks)

2010 Hiphop Census Mixtape (For the People By the People) – June 4th (my birthday)

    alright jin just for clarification i see many people have posted there mixtape entry already. But i wanna spend time on mine like im talking about overdubbing some saxes, singers, not sure yet (i got so much going on).. but i plan to put effort into it, ya know.so what im trying to say is your going to pick your top 5 favorite correct? and then the fans will pick their top 5 which will equal to a total of ten tracks. so when i enter in… say i don’t know a month or even last minute. there shouldn’t be much of a disadvantage correct. thank you

    I would be using the instrumental to a famous song, like “dead wrong” or “hell on earth” for the mixtape submission.
    I don’t have any beats so I would have to write to a beat that I downloaded from back in the day. If this is no good, I can see what I can come up with beats-wise.
