Quite possibly one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen on the internet.
Some of ya’ll may know I have been working on a mixtape called “Say Something”. The feedback I got from the two demos (Beautiful Story Demo , Untitled Demo) I previewed so far were really inspiring. I’m glad ya’ll are actually taking the time to listen. More so, it is encouraging to know that there are still people out there who wanna hear artists actually say something in their lyrics.
I just wanted to take a moment to update ya’ll on the status of said mixtape. I have actually started the recording process for it. If my schedule wasn’t so hectic, it wouldn’t even take so long. Add to that, the fact that I want to actually say something, I think it’s only right that I should put a bit more thought than usual into the content.
Bottomline, it’s on the way. Once again, thank you for your patience.
Epic trailer.
Experience tells me this is one of those cases where it’s either gonna be an insanely dope movie going experience or one of those super hard-core nose dive let downs.
An odd feeling has me betting on outcome number one.
Here’s a situation I bet they don’t prep you for in parenting class 101. LOL.
What’s a dad to do?
The kid is adorable though.
Father God, I lift those up to You now who have not had the chance to encounter You.
May You bless their lives with fruitfulness and peace in abundance.
Thank You Lord for all your blessings and continued guidance.
In Jesus name..
Amen.
Census time! I encourage everyone to fill it out and participate.
Also, don’t forget that you can still submit a track for the 2010 Hiphop Census Mixtape.. More info here.
These days, I love reading.
Back in the days, not so much. School text books? Forget about it.
I got this in my email a while back. Pretty neat so I thought I’d share it with you all.
Apparently, this person was reading a book in class and came across this passage about me..
For someone who didn’t like reading in school too much.. to end up being written about in a book that’s being studied in class. How’s that for irony?
In the last post, I shared with ya’ll an unofficial trailer of a movie (Gallants) coming out this summer that I had the chance of participating in. Technically, that was the first movie I had the opportunity to flex my acting chops in since moving to Hong Kong. However, the first movie to actually hit theaters that I had a role (not major but not minor lol) in is a film called Split Second Murders. It’s a dark-comedy. Think Final Destination with a humorous twist. In it I play a supposed book publisher who really is more than meets the eye.. Is he a actual publisher? Or really just a low life hooligan?
In this scene.. the lead character is an aspiring comic book artist. He comes to find my character, Mr. Chan, in hopes of successfully pitching his project.
