You would’ve thought I had an endorsement deal with Enyce at the time. lol Hard to believe this was 9 years ago (I’ll probably do a grand 10 year anniversary post next year).. Look at the young, determined, fresh faced 19 year old in this video clip. He is oblivious to how his life will change forever in just a matter of weeks.
TRIH was released in 2004. The last time I checked (around ’06-’07), it was at around 250,000+ copies sold worldwide.
It’s great to look back on these memories and reflect but I’m not one for living in the past.
At the end of the day, I’m just a young man who loves Hiphop. Fan first. Artist second.

ahhhh….Definately my all time fav, I remember the first time I heard this yeeears back, it was on replay with me and all the fam surrounding the computer. And when I say replay I mean a zillion times- & as a result I still know it all off by heart till this day!!haha. My dad also thorughly enjoyed it, who then explained it to my hard-to-please Grandad who has since become your ultimate fan!

Jin, why u sound kinda sad?? U don’t think u’ve achieved a lot in the past 9 yrs? I’m sure u had a hard time back in the states coz unfortunately, the world is not ready for an asian rapper in the major league. No matter how sick ur skill is, how deep ur lyrics is, it’s no match of those heavy beat piece of crap from the radio. Simply b/c ur skin color is not dark enough and u don’t have any “bling bling”… (it’s sad, but we still have race problem in every corner)
Personally, I was really impressed by “Same Cry” from TRIH. A 22 yr old could write a song like that?! This song made me felt in love with u, it really touched me! I know u’re a man with real heart and soul. Although ur career path in HK might be a bit off, I’m sure all the experience will aim in ur music. I really look forward to your next Eng album!!
